Is your marketing’s stuck in neutral? You’re posting but getting nothing back. The leads have dried up. You know how good your service is, but you just can’t get enough inquiries to really move the needle.

2026 is just around the corner and if you don't do something soon, itll be exactly the same as this year. AGAIN.

Or maybe you just want more structure, more confidence, and more cash coming in.

But what if you could change the whole ball game by March? What if, in just a few short weeks you could see more activity, more inquiries, more proposals, quotes and sales calls. More sales and more money!

What if, by March, your problem was how to service your new clients, find more staff and manage demand? They’d be good problems, right?

Here’s the good news: you don’t need a full-time marketing team to turn things around.

You just need a clear, focused 90-day plan. And I'm about to show you how

This is the exact process we use with clients to inject energy into their marketing, attract high-quality leads, and build systems that actually scale.

Let’s break it down.

Step 1: Define What Success Looks Like

Before you touch a single ad, post, or email, get brutally clear on your goals.

Ask yourself:

  • What specific outcome do I want 90 days from now?

  • How will I measure success?

Examples:

  • Add 300 new people to your list

  • Get 5 new clients

  • Book 20 discovery calls

  • Increase monthly revenue by $10K

📌 Pro tip: Don’t skip this. Vague goals = vague results. Set your goals using the SMART framework...

  • Specific. If you’re setting a revenue goal, say how much. If it’s a website traffic goal, how many visitors and so on.

  • Measurable. You must be able to measure the outcome. Sales are easy, awareness less so. Whatever your goal, before you start advertising, ensure you nbow how you’re going to measure the results.

  • Achievable. This is a big one. Be realistic about what can be achieved. If you’re just starting out, a goal to increase website traffic or leads might be best. If you’re more established with a pipeline, a revenue goal is good. Make it challenging, but not impossible. That’s a recipe for disappointment

  • Relevant. Your goal should move you towards a bigger goal, or a broader business objective. For example, in most cases the ultimate goal will be more sales. Early in your campaign a goal of more leads will help get you closer to that. Unless you get a lot of sales from your social media followers, a gol to increase likes on your page might not be such a relevant goal.

  • Time Bound. Put a deadline on your goals. For example, 300 new leads ‘within 60 days’ or $10k in revenue ‘by February 20th'. Naturally you need to monitor results along the way, but your deadline gives you direction on when to pause and evaluate the success of your campaign, then make any adjustments and continue with new SMART goals.

👤 Step 2: Laser-Focus on Your Ideal Client

This step is where campaigns win or lose.

Define exactly who your offer is for. Not just demographics — go deeper.

Ask:

  • What are they struggling with right now?

  • What do they really want? Like REALLY want. Their deepest desires they don't even talk about.

  • What are they afraid of?

  • What language do they use when they talk about this problem?

Not sure how to figure tis out? Talk to your customers and ask why they work with you. Ask previous clients why they left. Read online reviews, good and bad, from your competitors. Look for the patterns and most common themes. These insights into the mind of your customer are GOLD.

Speak directly to that person in every piece of marketing you create. Want to leverage the power of AI? Here’s a AI agent I built to help you define your ideal customer https://chatgpt.com/g/g-683e880512248191b3f03edfac67e319-client-crystal-ball-by-orbit-marketing

Step 3: Optimise or Rebuild Your Core Offer

Most marketing struggles can be traced back to a weak or unclear offer. When we get people contacting us for help because their marketing isn’t getting results, this is the most common source of the problem.

It’s important to remember that if you’re not getting inquiries and sales, it’s not YOU that sucks, it’s most likely your offer. You can check out our blog on offers here https://www.orbitmarketing.com.au/blog/this-is-the-rocket-fuel-that-powers-your-marketing/

Take your current offer and pressure-test it:

  • Is it solving a specific problem?

  • Is it a problem that enough people need solved, and are willing to pay to have solved, to be a viable product or service?

  • Is the transformation obvious? Can people easily see how much better life will be AFTER you fix their problems or help them achieve their dreams and goals?

  • Would your ideal client see it and say, “Hell yes — I need this” and be willing to pay for it?

If not, revise it. Here's how...

Add some scarcity or urgency. Having limited availability creates scarcity. Don’t be fake, that’s too obvious. At Orbit Marketing, we can only start 2 or 3 clients per month because of the work involved in properly setting up a campaign. So that creates scarcity. If you want the results right now that come from having our superstar team do it all for you, then act fast or you’ll be losing sales for another month.

✅ Make it easy to say yes to. That doesn’t mean you can’t have an application process, or qualifying messenger bot, just don’t make people go hunting for the ‘YES’ button. Let your ads click through right to the landing page with the opt in form, make the ‘sign up’ button obvious. Don’t make the message cryptic, let it say exactly what it is ‘Buy Now’ ‘Join Now’ ‘Book a call’ “Get a free quote’. Be clear in your messaging, life is complicated enough without having to play guessing games just to spend money.

✅ Make the benefit impossible to ignore. This is a BIG one. This is what we call ‘positioning your offer’ Whatever you’re asking people to say yes to, clearly outline the benefits. Make it super clear how they’ll be better off AFTER they get what you’re offering. Even if it’s a free offer, like an ebook or webinar. Clearly state what people will BE, what they will HAVE or what they will KNOW afterward that they don’t have now. This is the key to offer positioning.

📈 Step 4: Build Your Lean Marketing Funnel

No bloated tech stacks or over-complicated automation. A lot of marketing professionals won’t tell you this, but simpler is usually better. The more steps there are in your funnel, the more things can break. The more places for leads to ‘leak’ and the more maintenance is required. That’s not to say you can skip this steps. People need to know you, like you and trust you before they buy from you, so you need to move them through that journey, but as a rule of thumb, the simpler the better.

Here’s an example of a clean, simple funnel:

  • Attract – Use ads, social content, networking, or partnerships to grab attention.

  • Engage – Offer a lead magnet, quiz, checklist, or free session to grow your marketing list.

  • Nurture – Follow up with a short email or SMS sequence that builds trust. Add in a phone call or personalised video to really step it up if you get a lead from a dream client.

  • Convert – Send people to a sales page or booking link with a compelling call to action.

🎯 One offer. One funnel. One clear path to conversion.

Pro Tip: Don’t panic if your funnel doesn’t blow up your inbox right away. It happens. In fact something like 80% of campaigns tank at the start and need testing, tweaking and optimising before they really start humming. Remember, if you’re not getting the results you want it doesn’t mean YOU suck, it usually means your OFFER sucks and you need to do more testing and refining.

🎬 Step 5: Launch Your 90-Day Campaign

Now, it’s GO time!

Plan a campaign that drives attention to your offer. This is the first part of the 90 day plan, and the objective is to build awareness, increase your digital footprint and add to your marketing list. It’s not uncommon to get leads and inquiries during this time. We just launched new campaigns for 2 clients and both of them are getting leads, but its important to stick to the plan and remember the core objective at this stage is awareness, and growth in your marketing list  This could include:

  • Facebook & Instagram ads

  • Daily or weekly email marketing

  • Reels, stories, and carousels on social

  • A webinar or workshop or 5 day challenge

  • Retargeting ads

  • A limited-time incentive or bonus

The next 30 – 60 days is key. This is about building trust with your leads. The people who have engaged with your posts, reels or stories. The people who have visited your website and especially the people who have downloaded your freebies or signed up to your webinar, workshop or challenge. This is where you want to double down on content that’s educational, and shows your expertise in your field. During this part of the campaign, be sure to regularly give people the chance to buy from you. By email, by SMS or phone, clearly let people know what the transformation will be of working with you, and how they can say YES to your core offer. If you’re running a webinar, workshop or challenge, it s the perfect time to pitch your core offer.  This includes...

  • Social media posts, reels and stories

  • Social media ads

  • Google ads

  • Client reviews and testimonials

  • Email and SMS marketing

  • Calls, free quotes and proposals.

By now you’ll be getting sales but, once a quarter (at the most), include some extra value as an incentive to buy from you and create a quick cash injection. It might be a more personalised onboarding if you’re a service provider, a gift with purchase or extended access to a programme you're selling. Whatever you decide, use it to create urgency and/or scarcity. If you’re not doing regular webinars, now is the time to run one, with a special incentive for those who show up.

Now, don’t just “put it out there.” Launch it like it matters, because it does. Allocate a budget, allocate time and go for it!

🧪 Step 6: Track, Optimise, Repeat

Marketing is never “set and forget.” It’s a game of test and refine.

Every week, review your numbers:

  • What’s working?

  • What’s not?

  • Where are people dropping off?

  • What can be improved?

Adjust as you go. Then do more of what’s working, and cut what’s not.

📌 Pro tip: Consistency beats perfection. Just keep showing up and improving.

✅ By the End of 90 Days, You’ll Have:

  • Clear messages (we call them offers) that grow your follower base, grow your lists and convert into sales

  • A proven funnel you can scale or recreate for other parts of your business

  • A list of warm leads who now trust you and will continue to grow and convert over time, even when the economy or market conditions are tough. This is how you futureproof your business.

  • A marketing system that actually brings in sales, reliably.

  • More clarity, confidence, and momentum in your business
